The ogres of Krynn are known to be vicious and cruel with dark hearts and
ugly, unattractive features but incredible strength and towering height. The
half-ogres, few though they may be, have much in common with their forebears
in appearance and are only slightly diminished in size. Unwelcome in most
civilized places, the life of a half-ogre is not an easy one but their
prowess in combat makes them viable in any effort of violence or war.
Half-ogres, due to their strength, are fearsome combatants in melee combat
and given their unfortunate appearances, they have endured many hardships,
allowing them to take a great deal of beatings and punishment before
surrendering, but any outcast would accept death over defeat.
Their uncommon strength and constitution makes them ideal barbarians, dark
knights and warriors. Although they suffer from poor dexterity, when they do
land a blow, they certainly make it count. Though only of average
intelligence and wisdom, there are many half-ogres who have gone on to
become clerics and their fearsomeness is a boon to all half-ogre shamans.
